Taken at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan, China. Though the "Panda Base" is home to the more commonly recognised black and white Giant Panda, it is also home to the hugely adorable Red Panda. This particular Red Panda resided in a very large enclosure, visitors are limited to a fixed path through the enclosure, but there are openings that allow the Red Pandas to cross over the walkways. With a bit of luck, one can get very close to these incredible animals.
