I cut a pumpkin out of newprint paper...then cut others by that pattern. I cut strips 2-2 1/2 inches wide and used newsprint pumkin it as a foundation to sew my strips to. Then cut to the pumpkin shape when done. I used a batting and backing to finish. Then quilted each one.
