The inspiration for the Leo Coffee Table is a concrete sculpture that allows for functional use. The piece is constructed from steel-reinforced concrete that has been mixed, sanded, and sealed by hand from designer and builder Hawk Latham. The tabletop measures 24" x 36 ". The total structural measurements are 34" x 46". All pieces in this collection have been sealed with a non-toxic, natural finish that is food-safe. There are no design-rules to a beautiful composition of shapes. As seen in the Manhattan coffee table, it is consciously trying to compose an asymmetrical shape. The mutual distances between this visually floating 'blocks', and the proportions of the different plateaus, makes this low oak "coffee" and "books" table so unique.
