In Bed Worm Composting Refresh

Now that temperatures are cooling down, it is time to refresh my in-bed worm composting bins.⁣⁣⁣⁣  ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ I've been in bed vermicomposting for 2 1/2 years. I use them for composting all of my kitchen scraps - it is so convenient. The worms make the castings where they are needed, right in the beds.⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Here's what I did to refresh them after the long hot summer:⁣⁣⁣⁣  ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Cleaned out the bins - spread the remaining castings and compost around my beds. ⁣⁣⁣⁣  ⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Shredded cardboard boxes  ⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Added shredded cardboard to the hole⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Wet it down⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Added some worms - these beds had worms previously, so I only added a few - I split one bag from Arizona Worm Farm between 4 beds⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Added food scraps⁣⁣⁣⁣  ⁣⁣⁣⁣ • Topped with brown (something
