There is no better way to enjoy shrimp than with a super crispy batter and a sweet & spicy buffalo glaze that we like to call volcano sauce because it's just so so tasty and bright orange/red in color.
VOLCANO SAUCE
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar
• 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
• 1 tbsp. sriracha
• 1 tbsp. rice vinegar
• 2 tsp. finely minced garlic
• 1 tbsp. honey
• 1 to 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
• 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes to taste
• 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
BREADED SHRIMP
• 1lb. large shrimp (peeled, deveined, and no tail)
• 3/4 cup cornstarch
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. black pepper
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. black pepper
• vegetable oil, for frying
