Each illustration features a legendary horse adorned with patterns reflecting the visual culture of its region of origin. 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse in the Chinese zodiac—a symbol associated with strength, independence, and passion. This astrological context became the conceptual foundation for the project. The calendar explores the universality of the horse as a mythological creature across cultures.
