Love this art, but there is some misinformation here. Young tyrannos did not look this much like adults. They were thinner, and had longer snouts. Adolescent tyrannos looked so different from adults, they were misclassified as a “separate species” for generations of paleontologists. Young tyrannos were quick, midsize hunters. Adults were slow but dominant scavengers.
