Nicte Lara, a teacher, keeps two pieces of chart paper in the front of the room titled "i-Ready Math Lessons" and "i-Ready Reading Lessons." When students finish a lesson, they simply come up and put a tally mark on the chart. Angela Forino, a third grade teacher in Ohio, uses digital badges to gamify learning. Students in her class collect digital i-Ready badges on a Google slide and earn badges based on how many lessons they pass. Students can get badges for passing 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 i-Ready lessons. Students show their earned badges by signing a “Club” poster.
