This semester was my first real foray into Blender and I sure learned a lot. Designing the orphanage was quite fun, I based the architecture off of old buildings from 1980s England with the idea that the orphanage staff could only afford to live in one such structure. It has wings on either side to give off the enclosed and prison-like feeling to the orphan Mason, who at the beginning of the story feels trapped and alone.

Map for @sophieinari 🐻 For this one, I had to think carefully about how to show different regions and how biomes could flow naturally into one another. We also wanted the capitals to pop visually - each one distinct, but still fitting the overall world 🏰 And of course, all of that had to be balanced with atmosphere, aesthetics, and a few technical challenges...
