Making Water Defy Gravity Experiment
All you need for this science experiment is an arrow on a piece of paper (I folded and propped up the paper), a clear glass/cup and some water. How does it work? Refraction occurs when light travels from the air to water, water to air causing the arrow to switch direction. We had fun with this simple activity.

Just mix water and food colouring into cups.

Add half a cup of vegetable oil to another cup.

Using an eye dropper, drop the water into the oil.

We had fun watching how the oil and water don't mix.

Next time, we'll turn it into a lava lamp.

Embark on a Chilly Adventure with a Mesmerizing Instant Ice Experiment! Are your little ones always on the hunt for their next science-filled discovery? Today I'm sharing a super fun experiment that never fails to amaze—instant ice! This deceptively simple experiment allows kids to witness the wonders of supercooling as water transforms from a liquid to solid right before their eyes. We all know that water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit. But through a process called supercooling, water can actually remain liquid below its normal freezing point. All it takes is a tiny disturbance to spark the crystallization process and cause ice to form seemingly out of nowhere. This experiment harnesses that magical transformation, sparking awe and wonder in even the youngest of scientists.
