Smear campaigns are one of the most agonising things we can go through. For those of us who are not narcissists, it seems unthinkable that someone who was an intimate other is capable of such lies, deceit and attempts to ruin our lives. When I finally realised that trying to combat a narcissist practically was futile and in fact created even more damage to my life, I knew there had to be another answer.
