🔎The slip trainer allows the therapist to quickly manipulate the patient’s standing surface, thus making it a great tool for reactive balance training.  🧠In real world situations, we must be able to adapt to unexpected changes in the our environment, so a tool like the slip trainer would be quite useful.  ✅Besides implementing balance training, exercises that improve lower body and core strength and power are also key when looking to prevent falls. The third phase in all of the rehab programs in my book focuses on strength training and could serve as an excellent resource for also reducing fall risk.
