Update your wall from drab to fab with a Faux Fireplace. To hide a small brick section of wall and old paneling, we built a faux fireplace. We first attached a 2x6 to the ceiling, making sure it was centered on the wall. We then added a 2x6 on each side, attaching it to the floor, wall, and the ceiling board.
