no 50. A McIntosh 49 Class 4-6-0 'Sir James Thompson' of Caledonian Railways, built in 1903. Two were built, and were used on express services. It was rebuilt in 1911 with superheaters, and became LMS 14751 on grouping and was classed by LMS as Class 4P. The engine was withdrawn in 1933 at Perth, and scrapped in 1934
