The urethra is the connecting structure between the bladder and the penis. The narrowing of the urethra is called Urethral Stricture. It is generally caused due to infection, injury, or inflammation. The condition is seen much more in men than in women The scarring may be seen anywhere between the bladder and the penis tip. It increases the urge to urinate frequently. The stricture can lead to UTI, urinary retention, and kidney damage.
