Yes, I did use my kids’ toy spacers to drill these two IKEA Trofast storage boxes together. I LOVE IKEA’s Trofast collection for toys, but the bins wouldn’t stay in place and it was driving me crazy! I’ve wanted to fix this for a long time. I had leftover shims from the garden, and they were perfect for adding support to the shelves.
