Budget kitchen makeover before after | I CANNOT GET OVER the transformation on this DIY Kitchen makeover on a budget. I have worked for two months planning, DIYing, and researching ways to save money on home renovations, and it was WELL WORTH my time. I absolutely LOVE how it came out and I saved a lot of money by DIYing and by: 1. Doing a large format tile backsplash, this one I found at Home Depot • 2. Purchasing IKEA countertops 3. Finding a high end dupe for the $154 flush mount ceiling light from Lumens that I wanted. I did a google lens search and found a very similar one for $20 at Home Depot.
