Here’s my best tips for exiting out of handstand:
 • 1. Learn to balance in handstand first with the help of a wall or spotter. If you don’t, momentum and fear will be waiting to knock you down. Rather build up to a few seconds of hang time at least and get comfortable on your hands.
 • 2. Train your body into a pattern with your exit. Just like you train it to kick into handstand, train it to exit. This exit will be the same every time and with practice will become smaller and more efficient.
 • 3. Build strength in one hand. When you exit out of handstand you’re in a one arm position for a second!! That requires some serious strength. So do drills in plank pose with one arm and do things like a bear crawl to get use to bearing weight on one hand.
 • 4. How do you exit? One hand lifts
