"Big Clean Complex" Workout, CrossFit New England Benchmark WOD | WODwell
Heres how I improved my clean in only 6 months ⚡️

In November I hit a 1 rep clean and jerk at the end of a long weekend competing with the total being 125kg.

Fast forward 6 months I hit 120kg for a complex of 
1 Clean + 3 Front Squats + 1 jerk

How? 

By focusing on my back squat and front squat strength. 

Did I do cleans? Yes. To maintain technique.

It finally clicked. Power cleans have been a big movement I’ve been trying to work on. Moving weight around like that has been the biggest confidence boost. 

“Lift your elbows” is the cue that did it for me. And not being afraid to smack myself in the face with bar again 😅
