13. Theatre helped me to find myself in high school. It became very important to me, and there was a time when I thought it was what I wanted to pursue. There is no feeling like the one you get on opening night right before the curtain opens and you embody a completely different character. I haven't been involved in theatre since the kids were born, but I have the memories and the hope that I will get involved again. This poem really hits home and speaks to my experience with it beautifully.
