Sadly shoulder pain is a very common injury in yoga. It arises from too many pushing chaturangas, consistent front loading, strengthening/tightening the muscles at the front of the shoulder & very little pull motion to strengthen the back of the shoulder & balance it out. With no external rotator strength to hold the shoulder back & in place, the shoulder starts to compress at the front, you might experience a pinching sensation, as I used to. Try these :)
