Texas Road House Rolls

 • To a mixing bowl, add 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast 
 • 1 cup of warm water
 • 1/4 cup honey
 • Cover and let rest for 10 mins

After 10 mins 
 • Add in 4 cups of all-purpose flour
 • 1 egg
 • 5 tbsp melted butter
 • 2 tsp salt
 • 3 tbs sugar
 • Knead dough for 10 mins

After kneading
 • Add dough to an oiled bowl, cover, and let rest for 1 hour

After 1 hours
 • Add dough to a lightly floured surface and start rolling it out (should be fairly thick)
 • Cut into strips, then fold over and cut again
 • Cover dough again and let rest for 15 mins

After 15 mins
 • Add dough to a prepared baking sheet and brush on egg wash
 • Bake at 350 for 18-20 mins
 • Brush with butter

One Hour Dinner Rolls
 • 1 1/2 cups warm water
 • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
 • 2 tablespoons honey
 • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
 • 1 teaspoon salt
 • 4 cups flour, more or less as needed

3 tablespoons melted butter, for brushing on top

In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, dissolve the yeast and honey in the warm water and let stand for five minutes, or until foamy. Add the butter, salt, and 3 cups of flour, and mix until combined. Add additional flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and is only slightly sticky to the touch (be careful not to add too much flour!). Knead 3-5 minutes, until smooth. Cover and let rise 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400 and line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper and butter. Gently punch the doug
