Quick 2 Minute Snack Recipe for Kids Have You Ever Tried Bread Made This Way

Do you like cozy weekend mornings? I love that we can sit down and eat as a family. Today, we had leftover tomato and lentil soup, so I made cheesy garlic bread to go with it.

Ingredients
• 1 stick of salted butter, softened
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• grated parmesan cheese
• (optional) sugar
• 8 slices of sourdough bread

Note: I ended with some leftover garlic butter mixture. The butter mixture is enough for 10~11 slices.

Instructions
• 1. In a bowl, mix butter, minced garlic, and garlic powder.
• 2. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Spread the butter mixture on top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. (I went pretty heavy-handed.) Sprinkle some sugar if you'd like.
• 3. Broil in the oven until the top is toasty.
