How to Fix your RDL Form

There is a HOST of reasons why someone could be experiencing back back when performing deadlifts (too many to cover in this video)

BUT from my experience with coaching 1:1 clients and members in group fitness environments, what I’m displaying in the video (or some combination of it) is the most common

—> neck cranked forward

—> back arched (aka anterior pelvic tilt)

—> ribs flaring out (aka core not engaged)

—> going way too low is another common reason (not displayed in video)

Correct this with a few simple adjustments:

—> tuck your pelvis so that’s it’s underneath your ribs (this gets your out of that arch and helps create a neutral spine)

—> brace your core (I have a few detailed videos going over how to brace your core in more depth)

—> gently tuck
