A five storey building, Cley Windmill is a well known feature of North Norfolk. After many years as a working corn mill, it was converted, in 1921, into a holiday home for the family of Sara Marie Wilson. Again in 1983, it became a guesthouse run by Colonel Charles and Jane Blount, the owners at that time. Their son, known as James Blunt, is the now famous singer and songwriter.
