Cylindrical pair of planters from Earthgender, David Cressey and Robert Maxwell’s early 1970s project. These 17.75” diameter examples are incised in the “Teardrop Sunburst” design with interlocking gestural curves separating a pattern of lines radiating from a central point. Exposed stoneware along the scoring lines provides sharp contrast to the light speckled putty-colored glaze. Dimensions 18" diameter x 19.25" height Condition Excellent vintage condition.
