This beginner hat requires only that you know how to knit. You don’t have to give up warmth with this lacy slouchy hat. The inside lining keeps you nice and warm while the color from the inside peeks through the lace pattern. The lining is completely optional. The outer hat is perfect on its own as well as with the lining. This uses a provisional cast on and a turn over ribbed cuff. Use a DK weight yarn for the outer hat and a sport weight yarn for the lining.
