A call-back to the 80's "Star Trek" films, when most FX were executed with physical models and there was a certain majesty to the end result that's been almost completely lost. This was originally assembled in UE4 with assets made in Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop. It's been updated to UE5 and now leverages the lighting abilities of Lumen. Using about 375,000 tris and enough shaders to make a tech artist curse (though none of them especially complex)...
