Brimming with a history that is not always for the faint-hearted, York is a top-rated UK destination just a two hour train ride away from London... I’ve visited this iconic city a few times now and have loved strolling along the cobbled alleyways, venturing into centuries old pubs, and being marvelled by all of the museums in towns.
