Activities of daily living are daily tasks that children and adults must complete throughout the day. To complete daily tasks, a person needs the appropriate motor skills, executive functioning skills, organization skills, memory skills, language skills, and sequencing skills. It isn't necessarily "spring" but it set during springtime so it will do As you all know, I am a huge fan of using books during speech therapy. They are very multi-functional and engaging. We all need a little bit of fun this holiday season! These speech therapy winter PowerPoint games might do the trick. They can be used for any goal! Games during speech therapy are not only FUN but necessary! A child needs to be motivated to participate (of course), but a child also needs to practice newly learned skills in a more "natural" task (i.e., playing a game) that offers a bit of distraction.
