Raffle contest! Guess how many chocolate chips are in the jar...the child w/ the closest guess wins a copy of Mo Willems' "The Duckling Gets a Cookie" along w/ a plush Pigeon. Children may enter guesses each time they come in (through March 12) but must be registered for Winter Reading! All ages welcome to join...even if your child can't read yet, they may report books that their parents read to them.

Scholastic book fair

Classroom Wish List set up for book fair. Utilized the book shelves to set up this display and placed the carts on both sides. It was a huge success with the teachers and majority of the books were purchased.

So happy preparing for our next book fair. Theme: Luau Just the best theme before summer vacation . This was the bulletin board I prepared this week , for the book fair. and it came out just gorgeous . Here is the step by step when I assembled the board, from the basic blue paper and the craft paper with glued sand. the border drawn by me as bamboo sticks. Just love all the details.... and that beach chair is just soooo inviting... lol And the countdown is on ....
