A bastion of strength for Breland. A lot of resources were devoted to protecting this city during the last war as it was along the border with Cyre and Thrane. Vathirond is the home of the Big Company, a band of ogre and half-ogre mercenaries that were hired by Breland during the last war and became a special company in the Brelish military. Vathirond is ruled by a noble-mayor, Jerran il'Untimal.
