Adding a delayed comment for posterity: The working group's charter and functioning was brought up and reviewed by the IESG as per the charter during the January 13th 2022 informal telechat. Additionally, the responsible AD has been getting chairs reports on how the working groupis doing, and assessed that the working group is functioning well. The responsible AD has not considered necessary to go through a rechartering just to update the charter to remove the one paragraph, but the assessment has been done.
