Family Medicine at Mattapan Community Health Center is provided with a team model of care with a focus on wellness and prevention for people of all ages. Our family medicine providers specialize in caring for the needs of your entire family throughout all stages of life. Family medicine differs from adult and pediatric medicine because your entire family can consult with one provider and this includes routine physical exams, preventive care, cancer & cholesterol screening, immunizations, chronic disease care, walk-in care for urgent problems, pregnancy & newborn care, family planning and gynecological services. We have Women’s Health specialists on our staff as well as OB/GYN physicians and nurse practitioners.

When you are healthy, we will help you stay healthy through regular preventive care and health education. We are also experts in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and the management of chronic diseases. We have special programs and support groups for patients with a number of chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
